What is WBA?
WBA（World Boxing Association）is the abbreviation for World Boxing Association.
It is one of the world championship certifying organizations for professional boxing and is the oldest international boxing organization.
History of WBA
Established in the United States in 1921, it was originally an organization within the United States and was originally called the National Boxing Association (NBA) (the same name as the basketball organization).
In 1962, the name was changed to the current WBA.
