This restaurant, Mr. Homura, stews Ashiya from the basement. This is a famous restaurant where you can enjoy chicken white soup ramen, which is rare in Hanshin Ashiya.

Details

In July 2021, “Naniwa Men Are” in Tsurumi Ward, Osaka, changed its name and moved to Ashiya. Since a famous restaurant has been visited, we will have a rare ramen at Hanshin Ashiya Station.

Access

Place

There is a shop on the south side of the center of Ashiya.

The nearest station is Hanshin Ashiya Station, 2 minutes on foot. It’s super near the station. Turn right at the Naruo Mikage Line, which is just a short walk to the left from the station, go down the slope a little, go down the stairs of the commercial building (Alcope) on your left, and proceed to the first basement floor. Homura is the store on the left side of the floor.

10 minutes walk from JR Ashiya Station. Head south from the station and turn right on the Naruo Mikage Line. You will see a shop on your right.

There are many famous Western restaurants nearby, such as Poche de Leve, Henri Charpentier, and Giovanni.

There is no dedicated parking lot.

In front of the stairs leading down to the basement of the building, there is a signboard with the characters for flames written on it. There was a shop in the back when I went down the stairs. It is a shop that shines conspicuously in the dark basement.

Circumstance

When you enter the store, there is a ticket vending machine on your left. The store clerk kindly guided me. A total of 12 seats, including a table for four and a counter. The store clerk seemed to be difficult to move, probably because it was a little narrow.

What kind of person is the store clerk?

A cheerful store manager and two beautiful women were serving customers. It’s just before noon and it’s pretty crowded, and the shopkeepers are moving around.

How about the taste?

I ordered chicken white soy sauce and fried chicken. Arrived in about 5 minutes.

The thick and sweet soup of chicken paitan is exquisite. The chicken char siu, which seems to have been cooked at a low temperature, and the onions floating in the soup are the perfect match!

The fried chicken is also large in size, crispy and juicy inside! It was quite a taste.

My favoriet

It’s a matter of taste, but it’s best to start with the classic white chicken broth and soy sauce.

The fried chicken is also good value for money, and the amount is just right!

It seems that fried chicken can be taken out.

It’s hard to see from the table, so it feels like a little-known spot. You may want to try using it on a date. It is located under the stairs, so be careful if you have trouble with your legs.
